affection whore

So I have a boyfriend. The story behind us is that:

• we met in 7th grade when I asked for his number (i'm now in ninth grade) 
• we clicked immediately, but we never talked in person. only over the phone. 
• we were best friends until we fell for each other. 
• he ignored me the summer in between 7th and 8th grade (which hurt like hell)
• we started "talking" again in 8th grade
• fell for each other all over
• but he also fell for my best friend and 3 other girls 
• he ignored me the summer between 8th and 9th grade
• then in 9th grade we were in the school band together so we talked A LOT
• we talked foreal for 3 months before i was sure he had fallen for me again
• I asked him to homecoming bc he didn't have the guts (i'll post that story sometime) 
• then a month later, on december first, he asked me out and we've been together ever since. 

 so April 1st was our four month.
anyways, he loves me and tells me that often, but he doesn't give me the affection i need. i love attention tbh so i really really like being complimented.
but he doesn't compliment me really ever.
i have to ask him for compliments.
which really sucks.
if ya girls gotta ask for affection, you're not giving her NEAR enough.
